Over industrialization and globalization, the economic growth has been evolving since a few decades ago. Majority of human now are exposed to the advance technologies and luxury of life. However, these scenarios do not indicate that life nowadays is much better than the olden days. Every year without fail, open burning occurs everywhere. Especially in Indonesia, the nomad people and people of the agriculture field will burn forest for their own benefit.

After forest is burned, they will continue with their daily routine as usual without think twice about the society. This leads to many effects to other countries. Smoke particles will cause asthma patients to suffer. The smoke substances from the open burning activities will be brought to other countries following the wind direction. In serious conditions, death might occur due to suffocation of asthma patients. This will increase the death rate in the country. Another consequence of open burning is that it may lead to soil erosion. Due to weak grip of tree roots, soil will eventually wash off during rain. Then the top layer of the soil will erode and wash off from the land into the lower region, normally the river. In a long run, soil will reduce the depth of river water and lead to flash flood especially during rainy seasons.
