Having a strong dislike for buses is causing me distress. The daily ten-minute bus ride feels never-ending and I have to mentally prepare myself for it. As someone who has been using buses for a long time, I often feel ignored and unvalued as a customer. Buses are a sore point because I think our government should prioritize improving their timing in our country. Let me elaborate on why my hatred towards buses exists.

While waiting at a bus stop in the cold snow, you realize it's already 8:00 and that you're running late for school. After deciding to wait for 15 minutes, you check your watch again and see it's already 8:15, but the bus is still nowhere in sight. Assuming it must be just around the corner, you check your watch

once more a little while later and discover it's already 8:30, yet the bus still hasn't arrived. Impatience starts to set in as you check your watch again and see it's almost 8:35 – this is why buses are hated because they always seem to be late whenever you're early.

As you frantically rush to the stop, feeling breathless and desperate, you endure the freezing winter cold for a grueling thirty minutes. The bitter chill causes your nose to turn into a red balloon and icicles start forming on your ears. Eventually, after what feels like an eternity, a dilapidated old bus with your designated number finally arrives and comes to a halt as you wave desperately. his fingers on the wheel, the driver lets out a sigh at your sluggish movements. Just when it seems like things couldn't possibly get any worse, despite being only fifteen years old, you are charged an adult fare.

After receiving your ticket, the bus abruptly starts moving forward with a loud noise. This causes your bag to roll down the aisle and you accidentally collide with an elderly woman's lap. Unfortunately, this collision results in the loss of half of your teeth on her shopping trolley. Buses in London barking, Dagenham, and Ilford are all unpleasant. There is a well-known saying that states "you wait ages for a bus then three come along at once," but where I live it seems more appropriate to say "you wait ages for a bus then none ever come." Even when you arrive early, the bus fails to show up. You hurry to the stop, breathing heavily, only to be disappointed by its absence.

Waiting endlessly for a bus that never arrives while seeing girls my age comfortably driving modern cars is a common occurrence. Standing in the frigid cold for up to an hour turns my nose into a large red balloon and creates icicles hanging from my ears. The lack of apologies when the bus finally arrives is incredibly impolite, and the slow pace at which buses move suggests drivers' fear of driving, making the experience monotonous. To improve this situation, the government should hire more professional drivers. Furthermore, there are no entertainment options like television or music inside the buses, which would greatly enhance the overall experience.

The government should consider the

inclusion of TVs on buses to attract more passengers, especially children and teenagers who enjoy entertainment. Furthermore, despite the frustration of giving up seats for strangers, it is essential. London's buses are insufficient and should add a third deck to accommodate around 70 passengers.
