Aesthetics is a major component of design and technology as it is the appeal and appearance of the object.

It serves as a way something looks while hiding its works on function. Nature, the forerunner in aesthetics, has done this for eons creating with aesthetically remarkable results. So by designing artifacts after nature, as In biometry, these products created will be Just as aesthetically remarkable. In my opinion, polymeric products are Improved and superior aesthetically compared to normal standard products. Biometry is the observation and study of nature, its systems, models, and recesses to design products.

We learn from nature and apply it in our design of artifacts that are more suited for our world.

These biometric artifacts are modeled after nature, the most efficient and sustainable system, to potentially solve some of humanity problems.

Nature has been solving all sorts of problems since the beginning of time that we humans still face today. By studying nature and its design we can learn about materials, structures, aesthetics and natural solutions for our design challenges. Artifacts designed after nature, combine function and form soother seamlessly as It Is represented In nature, where aesthetics Is one of best.

Humanity should put more thought Into bloomer as nature has been designing systems, successfully, putting them through millennia of years of tests to make them optimally efficient and aesthetic. Through biometry, artifacts will not only function sustainable but also appear natural, following a current trend of being "green" and "going natural.

This is the reason the question of if biometric designed artifacts are superior to other design artifacts is raised for me. Nature's role in aesthetics is that It Is one of the critical representations In aesthetics. If nature Is one of the Influences in aesthetic value than It makes sense to design products after It, as It will be superb since It has been proven so In the natural world. Researching new ways to make and do things takes years of work when the things we're trying to do have already been done and tested by nature, through natural selection.

From natural selection, nature has created systems that are made to function efficiently and be able to hide it works in an appealing form, which is what aesthetics is about, in my opinion. Nature has been around forever and has adapted to earth sustainable while humans have only been around for thousands of years, which makes me consider the technology nature has is far beyond that of humans. Designing human systems to model natural systems provides us with a system that has been refined to maintain itself in function and appearance.

For Instance, In the forest when a tree falls and tarts to decay, It doesn't become waste but becomes a resource for other organisms, like Insects and other plants. Designing different ways to manage human waste or to turn It Into some kind of resource would help keep our world cleaner; clearing unsightly landfills that soil our cities. This would fit well for my town, Militias, as the Aesthetically, this is unacceptable because

it's not appealing to have to see it, smell it, and have to live with it.

There's a lot we can learn from nature about reusing and recycling and it lies in biometry.

As Kevin Passion notes, "Nature has things to teach us. The most complex and robust systems in existence are those in living organisms. " So if nature is where these systems already exist, mankind should design everything with nature in mind. By changing our system to one of biometric design our landfills and mainly our cities will be improved aesthetically.

Many people associate beauty with nature so it's no wonder why some of the most beautiful things are from nature. Nature offers many aesthetic ideals of beauty and it's seen throughout the world.

Nature's products are not only beautiful but also very functional in terms of being able to live in this world. The blue morph butterfly has dutiful vibrant blue wings, which it uses to scare away predators. It's form offers function, while still being aesthetically appealing. Scientists have studied these butterflies and through work with designers have created a new type electronic display, called a mirrors display.

The display, modeled after the butterfly wings, uses ambient light to recreate an array of colors and uses a fraction of energy compared to a standard LCD display.

Mirrors displays are appealing because they are more efficient while still displaying vibrant images making them aesthetically better than current displays like LCD displays. Aesthetic appearance is important in design and modeling after the beauties of nature is a plus as we're able to provide better function for our technologies without giving up appearance. The

way things function in nature is a result of the billions of years of inventing experience nature has. What works will stay and what doesn't goes out of existence.

These functions are tested against real-life conditions and only the best are kept and used. One function is that of the kingfisher's beak, which helps reduce water splash, allowing the bird to silently and efficiently dive into water after prey. From this function, we have designed high speed trains to be more quiet and efficient similar to the kingfisher. Normal high speed trains are loud and cause sonic booms when gaining speed but the Shakiness train, as they are called, have a streamlined front end, modeled after the kingfisher, to reduce noise and drag.

These trains travel faster and quieter while using much less energy. The aesthetics of the train enhanced significantly because of the biometric approach. Using the aerodynamic principles of the kingfisher and applying them to our artifacts allowed us to create this new type of train. The look and feel of the train not only improved but the function improved while also solving one of the challenges mankind faced. In my opinion the Shakiness train looks a lot better compared to the standard normal bullet train and by also offering better function it makes the Shakiness train aesthetically superior.

The form and all the other characteristics of the trains appearance derive mainly from its function. In, Industry of Nature, Louis Sullivan first principle is quoted, "form follows function", which to me means that if we design artifacts to mimic the functions of nature, the arm of the artifacts will in result be similar

in aesthetics to that of nature. Designs of biometry are aesthetically advanced because they replicate the uniform design of function and form in nature. A problem that biometry may face is that if mankind can actually develop artifacts that truly replicate natural systems.

We may be biometric innovations. Through it, we have been benefited with many positives like better efficiency and aesthetics but not at the rate of most organisms in nature. Even though we have not gotten close to completely replicating the complexity of any yester in nature, we have taken huge steps towards this. The biometry designed artifacts that we do have are still an advancement when compared to the standard designed products. With technology progressing and the knowledge of our many scientists increasing, ours artifacts, in time, will be identical or close to that in nature.

It's easy to duplicate what we see in nature in terms of form but to also duplicate its function is what makes biometric designs aesthetically better than normal design approaches.

To me there's no point in designing products that Just look the part and not function the way it's made to look. With more support and effort in biometry, more of society will begin to understand how beneficial biometry is, not Just for its functions but also for its aesthetic appeal of nature's beauty.

We can definitely benefit from biometry as some advances have already proven so. Man is armed with the latest and greatest of technology, we can design and build Just about anything. We can design some of the most beautiful pieces of works but without the proper function behind it, it's nothing more

than Just for appearance. But if we follow in nature's footsteps and design after it, we can combine form and function creating to only beautiful work but work that has superior function.

We don't have the billions of years to tinker with our inventions like nature has so it's sensible for us to take advantage of nature's experience and use it to advance our artifacts. Biometry will improve if not perfect the combining of form and function to give our products efficiency and the aesthetic appeal we desire. The more we copy nature the more we will fit in with the rest of nature making our artifacts look more natural giving it more aesthetic appeal. Doing it nature's way will change our world in a good way.
