The article goes on to describe the lack of curves, hips, and breast of underweight women to be unattractive. If overweight people were described in such a negative manner many women would be in an uproar.

Unfortunately, this article received positive comments with the addition of more negative comments concerning underweight women from readers. Women who are naturally “skinny” or underweight are approached with these opinions on a frequent basis. Another type of discrimination against underweight people is stereotypes. Many underweight people are faced with comments about starving themselves, having eating disorders, or even drug usage. They are called sticks, skeletons, poles, and other hurtful names. Regardless of what particular weight people are, underweight or overweight; no one deserves to be discriminated against because of it.
