Having individuals with scientific qualifications is crucial for many procedures, particularly in medical facilities where their knowledge is vital to enhancing healthcare. Whipps Cross Hospital is situated on the outskirts of Leytonstone within the London Borough of Waltham Forest.
Whipps Cross Hospital is a medical facility situated in Waltham Forest, Redbridge and Epping Forest. It serves a significant population exceeding 350,000 individuals and offers an extensive array of services like general inpatient care, outpatient care and day care services. In addition to these services, the hospital also
...provides maternity care and houses both an Emergency Department as well as an Urgent Care Centre that operate 24 hours a day. Whipps Cross Hospital has specialized facilities for urology, ENT, audiology, cardiology, colorectal surgery and acute stroke care along with cancer treatment. The hospital is associated with Barts and The London NHS Trust as well as Newham University Hospital NHS Trust.
During my exploration of Whipps Cross Hospital, I focused on the scientific aspects and visited the Pathology department. My research included topics such as health and safety compliance, services provided, the organization's community role, staff's scientific involvement and work performed. In addition to these factors, I also studied the science involved in hospital operations and its use of ICT. Compliance with health and safety regulations is crucial for organizations to ensure a safe environment for both employees and employers.

The Health and Safety Executive is responsible for enforcing these regulations, with a particular focus on manufacturing, construction, and industrial companies. By complying with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Whipps Cross Hospital strives to maintain exceptional workplace health and safety standards throughout the UK.
Employers have the responsibility to guarantee their employees' well-being and safety by providing them with information and training.
