Globalization is the recent push toward a connection between all the countries of the world eventually creating ‘one global economy’. It is the elimination of national borders for business interaction. Globalization introduces companies to other markets around the world other than their own.

It does not only come from an economic standpoint It has also allowed for awareness of the different cultures and lifestyles of people around the globe. Technological innovation has been a major force driving globalization along with trade agreements between countries. Another concern is that while globalization has helped the economies of developing countries by increasing competition and production in worldwide markets, it has had a negative effect on prices and demand, especially for oil. Economically, critics argue that globalization is a disadvantage for poorer nations. While globalization does encourage free trade, it negatively affects national markets. There is also a threat of corporates ruling the world because they have tons of power from simply “investing”.

Globalization has also resulted in the exploitation and increase of child labor. Lastly, globalization is said to have negatively affected national identity, uniqueness, and traditions Globalization has made way for free trade and allowed for communication between various parts of the globe. It has the potential to make this world a better place to live in. It, however, is not only modernizing but also westernizing and to an extent also killing the native cultures of many countries.
