"If you cannot fly, then run… I f you cannot run; then walk… If you cannot walk, then crawl… but do whatever you have to do to move forward". This is a famous quote by the great Martin Luther King, which also acts as a great motivation whenever I think about success. We all want to achieve something in this life: dreams, aspirations, ambitions, and reach at the furthest points in professional career- to be successful and lead well-up lives. In simple terms, success is the achieving the desired and targeted result in an attempt or acquiring great respect and wealth from one’s actions. In our daily lives, we al try to be successful. At school, we want to get the best grades and graduate with honor, at the workplace we seek to get pr
...omotions based on the great results of our work, and we also seek to utilize our abilities or skills and talents in their respective dimensions to achieve great success and accomplish in those particular fields.
In fact, success can be pretty easy and simple: it is basically doing the right thing at the right time and in the right manner. It is all about learning to make the best out of what we do at the times designated for doing those particular things. Like say at school, we have to learn to work smart and give it the best shot as well as make it the main agenda our lives at that particular time since it is the main thing. In the different paths we choose to take in life, we have to learn to work hard, exercise patience, and one day
we will reach wherever we have dreamt of reaching.
In whatever you do in life, you have to keep moving and working to make all the things you visualize and meditate through days and nights come true.As much as ambition is a first step towards achieving success, actions have to follow. As Vince Lombardi once said, the price of success is dedication and hard work on the job at hand, as well as the determination whether we lose or win, we gave the best f ourselves on the task at hand. Basically, it is all about giving whatever we do the best shot- being our best. This is because success is connected to actions. Successful people have made mistakes on their journey: but what made them successful is that they did not quit but kept trying. Success does not come by accident. It is the result of a series of right decisions at the right time by champions who never quit even at the face of failure in their journey to success.
The road to success is never easy. It is a rough road and only the meek and patient will succeed. It is a road full of heavy loads and one may throw in the towel and give up- stop trying and giving the best shot since it is not working anyway. As a matter of fact, there is no elevator to success: you have to use the stairs! This is probably what makes success sweet: if the road is never rough, if success came easy, then success would not feel as sweet as it is supposed to be. Apple founder, the late Steve Jobs, noted
that people should have the courage to keep following their hearts and intuition since these two alone know where truly a person wants to be. As much as dreams seem hard to achieve, never stop knocking on the door to success: never stop dreaming and following that dream by doing what is necessary and in the right way to make it come true. If you do not build on your dream and work towards achieving it, then someone else may hire you to help them with building their dream. It is true that good things come to people that wait, but better things come to those people that go out there and get it: actions!
To succeed, we need to learn to trust ourselves even when no one else seems to believe in us. As Mahatma Gandhi asserted, at first, people may ignore you, then they laugh at you, before they fight you. But in the end, you will win. Your attitude has a great influence and impacts towards realizing success so we have got to keep striving and do what we want to do since those that may seem to mind do not matter and those that matter will never mind. Success needs self-esteem. You have to believe you can do it, believe you deserve it, and believe you will get it.
When you achieve success, never close the window of improvement- seek to become better. As Bill Gates asserted, success may be a lousy teacher that seduces smart people into thinking that they may never lose. We always can become better no matter the situation: success or failure. Just keep believing, keep dreaming, keep acting
and working hard, and you will achieve what you have always wanted to achieve. As I close, I would like to finish off with a quote by Winston Churchill. He said, “success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” Thank you.
