Hello there! My name is Luke and I'll be the narrator for this story. With a personal connection to the characters, I'll introduce them as they come along. Get ready for an enchanting and foreboding journey through a mystical world as we follow a young man's adventure. So sit back, get comfortable, and let's dive into this fanciful tale.

In the doorway of a small thatched cottage, Danny - a well-built young man - searched for his brother Wilfred. He asked his mother, who was sitting in a large armchair reading a book titled "Does the Ring of Light Really Exist?", if she had seen him. She replied apologetically that she hadn't been out today and suggested asking their father instead. Danny wondered why his mother read such nonsense, to which she explained that it wasn't nons

Danny, with his long dark hair tied up in a ponytail, held a bow and carried a broadsword and quiver of arrows. Frustratedly muttering to his mother about 'Expanding your mind', he stormed out of the door in search of his father who was working in the barn on the edge of the field.

"Have you seen Wilfred?" asked Danny. "No, and why don't ya stop wastin' time with that stupid horse and help me for once," replied the woman. She continued, "There are a million jobs that need doin' and you ain't doin' none of 'em." Despite her words, Danny headed towards the forest where he eventually found Wilfred grazing beside the barn. His frustration was mounting until he noticed a plume of smoke rising from the cottage. ran towards it but saw two bodies burning next to each other with red flesh clinging onto charred black bones halfway there.

Danny fell to his knees, tears streaming down his face. He heard a noise coming from the barn and quickly kicked open the door. Just in time, he avoided an axe thrown at him with incredible speed. It missed him by inches and hit the door instead. When he looked up, Danny saw a tiny goblin standing before him. The creature was only four feet tall and had green skin, blood-red eyes, and razor-sharp teeth. Without hesitation, Danny drew his sword and charged towards it but the goblin grinned before running out of the barn and disappearing into the forest.

Danny shot his arrow at the goblin, causing it to scream in pain as it fled into the forest. The following day, he buried his parents and gathered necessary provisions. Rather than rebuilding his farm, Danny embarked on a journey of vengeance - fulfilling his longstanding craving for adventure with more fury than enthusiasm.

Departing at noon on Wilfred, a magnificent black mare with regal movement, he journeyed deep into the forest until dusk. After an entire day of travel, he finally discovered a clearing where he established camp. However, the night proved to be troublesome as he was repeatedly visited by eerie sounds such as the hooting of an owl, broken twigs and whispers that resembled the wind but felt all-too-familiar. These whispered words possibly included phrases such as "Is it him?" or "Does he really look like him?" confirming his discomfort.

Danny attributed his experience to his creative mind playing tricks, yet he remained uncertain.

His night had been restless, causing him to wake up around noon the following day. Despite continuing his journey towards the east, he was unable to locate a town or village for sustenance. As night approached, Danny attempted to rest once more but sensed a presence surrounding him. In response, he quickly reached for his sword and sat up in bed.

Danny experienced absolute silence before being overwhelmed by loud shouts coming from various directions, leaving him feeling powerless and trapped. The restraints on his arms and legs caused a sharp pain at the back of his head, leading him to fall into a deep sleep. Upon awakening, he discovered mischievous six-inch-tall elves who had taken him captive in their town - an experience that filled him with fear.

Despite hearing negative tales about them, Danny was impressed with the excellent service provided by the elves. He woke up in beautiful chambers and was escorted to a magnificent feast where he appeared to be the main attraction. While this unexpected hospitality made Danny uneasy and distrustful, he couldn't identify what was wrong but sensed that something wasn't right. However, his suspicions were confirmed when voices from the street below his window alerted him to some kind of disturbance.

As Danny looked through his window, he observed several small flying creatures, which were fairies. There were hundreds of them, yet this left Danny perplexed. He knew that elves and fairies did not usually interact since fairies regarded elves as pests. While they were passing by his window, they suddenly halted. Then, one fairy separated from the group and perched on Danny's windowsill. Fairies constituted a type of elf

with elegant and fragile wings; this one had a crown on her head and seemed like the Queen.

Danny crouched down and observed it with interest. "I am Hevenia," spoke the Fairy Queen, her voice imbued with magic and enigma as though she were present in a chamber of reverberations. "I am..."

Danny was interrupted as soon as he started speaking. One of the elves proclaimed, "I know who you are, Danny. You are the one chosen and sent to us by the Ring of Light." Following this sentence, a light mumble broke out among the fairies and elves. Danny became more perplexed by the second and asked, "Sorry?" Urging him to begin his training so he can vanquish evil, the group stated, "We must hurry! There's no time to waste!"

Without noticing Danny's query, the Queen appeared and motioned towards a sizable box outside the window. The box contained two chairs and was being held by approximately twenty fairies. She encouraged Danny to join her in the box, but requested that he withhold his inquiries until she had completed her tale. The story centered around a time twenty-five years prior when the kingdom was content and harmonious. However, things shifted with the birth of a certain individual.

'He? Who is he?' Danny inquired. 'He is the Prince of Darkness, more evil than even the Devil. His magical abilities are immense, and he exclusively employs them for malevolent purposes. Fortunately, we are still alive because of the Ring of Light, which safeguards us from his nefarious tendencies. However, his power is escalating day by day and soon the Ring of Light will be incompetent in protecting us. Even though

someone exists who is more potent than him, someone like you,' the Queen stated. Danny was taken aback by the Queen's words, 'But how could it be me? I have no magical abilities; I am bereft of any magical powers. Why do you despise him so much? What has he done?' 'He revels in death; everywhere there is light, he illuminates it with darkness.'
