What is Past And Present?

The past and present are two distinct periods of time that can be compared in many ways. The past has a certain significance to individuals, societies, and cultures that the present does not. It is common for people to reminisce on the past and explore how it has shaped their lives, as well as the world we live in today.The past is often seen as a period of innocence and naivety, where our childhood memories were made and we were not yet exposed to the realities of adulthood. The present, however, is dynamic; it’s filled with technology, modern conveniences, career opportunities, new information and ideas all of which can be both exciting yet overwhelming at times. When comparing these two periods of time there are many similarities: both involve change over time; both contain memories that shape one’s life; both have led up to this moment. However there are also some stark differences between them: the past often involves nostalgia whereas in the present we are constantly striving towards something new; the past is rooted in history whereas now our focus is more on what will happen next; finally while things from our childhood may still exist today they take on different forms or meanings when compared with then versus now. It’s clear that much has changed over time – from technology advancements to social norms – but one thing remains constant: our stories from both our personal lives and collective histories will always remain a part of who we are today. By looking back at how far society has come since then-and-now it helps us better appreciate what makes us unique in this ever-changing world.
