What is Education?

No matter what form it takes, education serves an important role in helping people become informed citizens with the ability to make well-informed decisions about their future plans and goals. Education helps foster critical thinking skills by teaching students how to weigh different perspectives when considering information a valuable skill needed for active participation in our democracy today. It can also open doors for those seeking employment by providing more options when looking for jobs based on one’s level of educational attainment; employers often seek out applicants who have some sort of degree or certification related to their occupation since they know these individuals possess a certain level of knowledge regarding their work responsibilities. At its core, education is about building relationships within our community so we can all better understand each other’s experiences and points-of-view while working together towards common objectives allowing us come closer together as a collective whole despite various differences among us individually or culturally speaking. Therefore investing time into ensuring quality educational opportunities exists benefits everyone involved from students themselves up through society at large and should remain a top priority regardless if times are tough economically speaking or not.
