What is Basic Human Needs?
Basic human needs are essential for the survival and well-being of all people. These needs include food, water, shelter, safety, security, and companionship. In order to thrive in life, these core needs must be met with quality and consistency on a regular basis. Without them, individuals may suffer from physical or mental illness due to improper nourishment and environmental factors. Food is one of the most basic necessities that every human being requires in order to survive and remain healthy. Nutrients help fuel our bodies and keep us strong so we can live productive lives. Eating a balanced diet filled with fruits, vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats, proteins as well as other vital nutrients helps provide us with energy throughout the day and reduces risk for chronic illnesses such as diabetes or high blood pressure in the long run. Water is also an important element of sustaining life since it helps regulate body temperature while providing hydration which allows organs to perform their functions properly. In addition to helping sustain organ function within our bodies; water also plays a role in keeping skin moisturized which keeps wrinkles away. Additionally clean drinking water provides us with immunity against certain diseases by washing off bacteria caused by poor hygiene practices or contaminated sources like lakes or rivers. Shelter is another one of those fundamental elements necessary for humans’ survival as it provides protection from harsh outside conditions such as extreme temperatures or inclement weather that could potentially put someone at risk if they were exposed without proper insulation/shelter available nearby (e.g., homeless). Shelter also gives people peace of mind knowing that there’s somewhere safe where they can rest peacefully each night free from harm’s way this makes it easier for them too focus on other aspects of their lives instead worrying about personal safety when sleeping outdoors. Safety & security are two closely tied components essential for any individual’s sense of trust within themselves & their environment (including both natural & manmade hazards) . This means having access to things like reliable locks/alarms systems on doors & windows at home as well feeling comfortable walking down public streets during nighttime hours without fear anything ill happening underscoring how important these two components truly are. Finally , companionship is something that many people crave but don’t realize how deeply embedded into basic human needs it really is – Having meaningful relationships w/ family members , friends , pets etc.
