valuable time spent on searching for misplaced items. It enables students to easily locate their belongings and prevents lateness. Additionally, rewarding oneself serves as motivation to prioritize tasks and effectively manage time.

According to Donna White in her article "6 Tips to Improve Your Time Management Skills," it is important to celebrate accomplishments and choose healthy activities that are enjoyable but not excessive. These skills are essential in making daily life easier. By implementing this habit, motivation is increased, which drives individuals to meet their goals. One way to do this is by finding something to look forward to and only allowing access to it after completing assignments or objectives.

Completing tasks such as assignments, chores, or even making the bed can be motivated by any small reward. In school, I faced a significant problem of procrastinating on my assignments until the last minute. I realized that instead of finishing my work, I was prioritizing activities like playing video games or taking naps. While it is acceptable and normal to engage in these activities while attending classes, it is not advisable when there are pending assignments. This behavior had a negative impact on my sleep schedule, resulting in insufficient rest and increasing tiredness each day. As a result, my grades did not meet my desired standards.

In order to improve my poor time management, I started rewarding myself after completing my priorities. These rewards included playing video games or taking a nap, activities that I considered as rewards because they were done frequently and could only be enjoyed after completing my daily tasks. As a result of rewarding myself, I noticed significant improvements in both my sleep quality

and grades. I also felt less exhausted on a daily basis. One effective way to address time management issues is to create a list and prioritize tasks accordingly. However, it is crucial to actively use and not ignore the created lists.

Using reminders on a phone or computer can improve the effectiveness of a list by serving as a reminder and keeping it top of mind. By utilizing lists, individuals can enhance their time management skills. A critical factor in creating a successful list is making sure that the goals are realistic and not too ambitious. It's crucial to avoid overwhelming oneself by reducing the to-do list to a manageable size for each day.

When feeling lost, it is beneficial to review your routine and identify available time slots for your to-do list. This process allows you to distinguish between open periods in your day and times that are already occupied. By doing so, you can incorporate tasks into your calendar. However, it is crucial to actually adhere to the list you create because neglecting it can render it ineffective. Falling into this trap undermines the purpose of having a list. Creating lists is one of several habits suggested for individuals grappling with time management.

Experiencing poor time management can cause significant stress for individuals, myself included. Overcoming this habit may seem difficult, but there are daily practices that can help. Effective time management requires discipline, organization, a positive mindset, and helpful technology tools. If executed successfully, it leads to increased productivity and reduced stress levels. Developing organizational skills, implementing reward systems, and creating to-do lists are essential habits that greatly improve time management abilities.
