The recycling process

The global climate change is affected by the recycling process of hazardous wastes, especially solid wastes. Recycling and waste reduction reduces the greenhouse gases since it reduces the emission of methane gases and saves energy as well as increasing the sequence of the carbon in the forest. The rule of sustainability uses reduce, reuse and recycle which can be achieved in several ways. The amount of waste can be reduced and sustained through the elimination of one-time shopping bags especially the plastic bags (Zhang, Tan, &Gersberg, 2010). If the manufacturers package their products properly, sustainability of waste reduction and recycling can be achieved. For instance, in the United Kingdom, the water bottles are lighter and in Japan, packaging of meat and seafood is not done in trays which have reduced wastage.

The recycling process includes collection, processing and sale of products created from old stuff. For instance, a jacket or sleeping bag stuffing is made through old plastic where it is chipped, melted and turned into a fiber(LaGrega, Buckingham, & Evans, 2010). The recycled content can be fully or partly from recycled materials. The waste consists of products that can biodegrade, waste from medical institutes and radioactive waste. Some wastes produce toxic byproducts after breaking down. After collection, the waste material is transformed into a safe product through treatment, isolation or recycling. When the recycling process is through, the product is

neutralized and stored in a way that it cannot degrade and then it is released to the environment.

Design of the plan to avoid climate change from the community

The plan emphasizes on sharing responsibilities among the members of the community, the government, and the stakeholders to ensure a socially developed economy and environment. The government sets planning units that implement a Local Solid Waste Management Plan (LSWMP) successfully. To protect the health of the public and the environment, the waste is handled with care due to its components and physical appearance (Williams, 2013). The local authority creates drop-off bins around the city where residents put used stuff, therefore the collection process is simplified where the waste bins may be labeled to facilitate sorted waste.
The federal government should have the waste disposal and management plans to facilitate waste collection and remediation.

There is a public law known as Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) that creates a framework for hazardous waste management. The law enforces legal requirements for waste management and they are found in the code of federal regulations. The law also contains policies and guidance on hazardous waste management. The EPA of United States limits greenhouse emissions from new and existing plants under an act that promotes clean air to limit emissions of carbon dioxide. The clean Air Act controls pollution of air and emissions and was enacted by the federal law of the United States (LaGrega, Buckingham, & Evans, 2010). The federal act ensures that operating and emission permits are legal and are maintained within the permitted levels. It also complies with requirements from the state implementation plan. With help from the CCA and active

participation from the community members, the hazardous waste program can be successful and the environment would be friendlier.
