This was the most amazing moment in my life because I knew it was a step closer to fulfilling my dream to be a dentist. Life was not easy in the college but my urge to succeed in my chosen career and become one of the best dentists helped me to overcome the challenges that I faced. I made sure that I worked hard in my studies but I also made sure to interact with the other students, this helped me to gain interpersonal skills that are important for a dentist to effectively interact with patients. My interaction with the patients while here was also important because it provided me with a concrete picture of what my practice would be like and this motivated me to work hard and master everything that I learnt.

After my graduation from the college, I got a job in SVS Institute of Dental Sciences where I worked as a tutor for several months. This experience helped me to understand what I had learnt in a better way while explaining it to other students. At some point during this time, I felt like my academic life lacked direction because I was not doing what I had always dreamt of from when I was young and this is becoming a dentist.

All the same this did not deter me from working hard and being the best tutor and it is while I was here that I got posted to the department of prosthodontics. Finally my chance to do what I had always wanted, I got the chance to explore my passion for dentistry. Fixing dental issues for people and making them

smile is interesting and it makes me feel that I am giving people another chance to live and relate with other people confidently.

My desire to learn acquire more knowledge about dentistry saw me acquire my post graduate degree in dentistry in Saveetha Dental College where I graduated with a Masters Degree in Dentistry. I want to learn more about dentistry especially in this modern world where advancement in technology created more platforms to explore this area of health study.

I believe that practising dentistry in the United States will give me the chance to acquire more knowledge and experience on dentistry. I believe that the only place that can help me take my practice to another level is in your institution.
