Understanding your personal worldview is significant because it helps to understand your own philosophy. This is how we evaluate all aspects of life, the world around us and our place in it. Looking at the life of a man, it is difficult for him to believe in something that he cannot see, touch or feel. It is hard for him to understand and define terms like God, ethics, and knowledge, although they play a huge role in shaping his thoughts, experiences and life decisions.

God has placed each of us in this world for a reason. He has given us the knowledge to determine what is right and wrong so we can make choices that are important in our lives. He created us through His own image and likeness. This shows that we are part of Him and all aspects of our lives should be based on His will. We are the creatures God will hold accountable for how we do things in this world or how we precede the world to be in our eyes. We all must do our equal part to help our fellow human beings who have fallen due to poverty or despair. We all must reach, teach and be a service to others because we are all humans and this is what make us different from other creatures. God’s intent of creating us human beings was so as to reflect his nature to the world. We have been endowed with special abilities, talents and unique gifts which we need to share with humanity.

as to what is the fate of human beings in this planet. The old testament has opened my eyes to discern that it’s been God’s purpose to constantly be involved in the affairs of this earth. Its rather unfortunate that instead of us seeking the Lord constantly, He has been the one doing this since the creation of the earth. We need to reflect and understand clearly that all the civilizations that have existed since the dawn of humanity, it’s been their endeavor and progress to ensure that the sacred teachings of God have been imparted to all (Arnold & Beyer, 1999). I do realize that it’s in our inner being that we have been given the basic concepts and values that we need to abide by so as to live lives that are full and enriching. Accordingly, all of us need to appropriate what the portion is in this limited life and pursue it accordingly. We also need to realize that we need not to create boundaries with other fellow human beings due to misunderstandings that may arise due to conflicting about the world, our essence, any phenomena and importantly regarding the existence of God.

Developing an intact and elaborate worldview is of fundamental importance to all of us as it would permeate in us the intrigues that have been constantly causing revolts in our opinions, perspectives and the way we understand others. Having my own worldview did enable me to understand myself clearly, brought in me a vital clarity of all

that I did believe regarding the writings found in the old testament. Such a measure if undertaken by others will enable them to understand the world, its beginnings as rooted in the old testament accounts as well as enable to understand clearly all that did work in the relationship between man and God in the ancient times (Arnold & Beyer, 1999).

The other perspective that would be absorbed by looking into one’s worldview in relation to the writings of the old testament would be how in the history of humanity, individuals that have undertaken their services to be sacred by working tirelessly in transmitting that which is beneficial to society tirelessly without no complains (Arnold & Beyer, 1999). This perspective would in turn shape our current misconceptions of work whereby we see it in terms of the income it brings at the end. Rather, by dedicating and giving ourselves to work and service, we are working for humanity, we will be working for God and ultimately we will be serving that purpose that we were created for, to serve others.

Having a clear perspective distills the distorted information and knowledge that we tend to have highlighted in our opinions. Most of the biasness and exaggerations that arise would be checked upon and this will result in all individuals often having an elaborate perception of all that occurs in themselves as well as in others. Acquainting our minds with a worldview enables to place everything into order as well as aid in falling into the pit traps of unsubstantiated views which can be dogma at best. At best, the essence of incorporating worldviews in our lives will lead to living a life that is satisfactory, well-grounded on the reality of things and will enable to understand the what, why, how, when and why’s of life, in the current livelihoods we are having as well as in the past lives of those that have passed through us especially the ones talked about in the canonical books of religion.
