There is a skill in writing an excellent paper. It only takes a bit more effort to elevate a B or C paper to an A. Here are some basic tips and instructions. Follow these and watch your grades improve!

Make sure your paper has a polished appearance! A fancy title page is unnecessary, but your paper should demonstrate effort. Run it through spell check and fix major grammatical errors. Use the authors' names instead of referring to the "yes" or "no" article.

Place your name in the upper right or left corner. Include the date and issue number (Issue Six). Also indicate which assignment you are completing and keep them in order. Here is an example: J

Organize your paper using paragraphs to develop each idea. Double space your lines.

Provide excellent content! Discuss each article, not just one. When comparing the quality of each article, ensure you explore their strengths and weaknesses.

Quote at least twice from each article to highlight key passages that help assess their strengths and weaknesses. Look for evidence in every paper. Are sources used correctly? Are they distorted or manipulated? Evaluate the validity. Describe the tactics each author employs to convince you. Learn to recognize Ad hominem arguments, for example.
