Where does human evolution stand today? I have often contemplated the distinct roles of various genders. The current state appears to be stagnant, with no notable advancements as we witness; the least we can do is to candidly and openly express our worries. My intention is not criticism but simply a desire to globally disseminate this straightforward and assured message. Pakistani women continue to grapple with self-identification issues. In this journey, some surpass their inherent potentials while others remain suppressed and hidden. Why are women not recognizing their basic values and standing up for their rights and principles?

Women should never be put under subjection or domination. They have the rights to fair treatment, honesty and respect rather than being subjected to abuse or deception. Furthermore, it is cru

cial to realize that women are not just tools for men's use but beings with independent thoughts, values and goals. Women come into this world deserving of love, appreciation, regard, esteem and care; in return they respond with even greater feelings - even ready to make any sacrifice for you. Let me clarify that my aim here is not to offend anyone. It doesn't apply that all men demonstrate the harshness I've described nor do all women fall victim to such dominance. However, I am referring specifically to a significant segment of the Pakistani population.

Why are females frequently seen in circumstances of weakness, oppression, and lack of authority? Is this a reality that cannot be changed? Indeed, women might not possess the physical prowess typically linked with men... yet recall the profound saying by an enlightened person which affirms "The pen is

mightier than the sword". Use your voice. Pursue knowledge. Always stand bold. Waiting for societal change can be lengthy; if we delay too much it could dangerously become too late. Our basic comprehension and steadfast faith should assert that women are not naturally frail. Our personal identities are formed by our decisions and convictions. It's crucial for females to comprehend and have confidence in their own power completely. To clarify; this does not support physical aggression or hostile confrontations, but rather encourages strong resolve.

Don't give up. Continue reading. Allocate some time for this today, and you won't regret it. It's a case of now or never. Will we keep watching passively as our society crumbles? This is just one instance among many persisting issues in our community. To cite an anonymous quote, "We are all passengers on the bus called life, always travelling. We think there's a driver but upon closer scrutiny, we understand that there isn't anyone steering us. Assume command of your personal life. Guide it yourself or someone else will seize control. Everyone needs to contribute their part. We can't merely stay inactive, repeatedly falling prey to circumstances."

We ought to be the ones guiding our existence. It seems like we're merely waiting for an incident to offer us sanctuary and support... However, remember that even God lends a hand to those who are willing to help themselves. We hold the potential to bring about change. If a small insect like a fly can create ripples in a pond, why can't we initiate the necessary transformations in our lives? Could it be that we fear change? Losing our habitual

comfort zones? Is this the existence we envision for our future generations? For those still puzzling over my language, allow me to elaborate. I'm referring to the harassment in shopping centers, the unsolicited attention in educational institutions and workplaces, and the stalking in parks and grocery stores.

I'm alluding to the infringement of our daughters, sisters, and wives' autonomy to make choices or voice their opinions. I bring attention to the plight of women who endure daily violence and mistreatment from their partners and tragically perceive it as their fate, fooling themselves into believing they're 'content' during periods of peace. I highlight the common disregard for women compelled to work in degrading circumstances only to be subjected to ridicule by those accountable and society in general. Bear in mind that not only men are perpetrating these outrageous deeds against women. Women too are exploited in this male-dominated scheme designed to sustain their subjugation and passive compliance.

Often, women can unwittingly propagate the suffering of other women. Many individuals struggle to see beyond their own opinions or break free from their personal experiences. Encountering situations where men cause emotional distress through harsh words is not uncommon, and in such circumstances, women are often counseled to silently tolerate it rather than retaliate. Some men use physical violence as a form of domination, and in these scenarios, the advice frequently offered to abused women is to bear it in silence and make do with their circumstances. There are cases where a woman’s hard work goes unrecognized by men who mock them but still discourage them from voicing their concerns. Are these the lessons we want our

daughters learning? Doesn't it raise questions about what kind of future we're creating for them? Shouldn't we challenge when men behave according to societal norms?

Women of every age, realize and acknowledge your true self before allowing others to influence it. As females, we naturally tend towards kindness and sacrifice; continue to embrace this as a part of who we are. While working for our family's happiness is a common goal, do not let it cost you your unique identity, self-worth or dignity. Make sure not to accept any form of disrespect from anyone. Always remain conscious of your value because you are deserving of the best in life. Change can only happen when we refuse what is wrong and start advocating for what is right. For change to occur, the first transformation needs to be within ourselves. The moment has come for you to take charge - there's no better time than now! You must initiate change before circumstances compel you into action.
