For a human being to donate that much money is unheard of. He donated to churches, universities, libraries, and many more. Carnegies own corporation is still in business. Its net assets were $2,167,000,000. Most of it goes to education, but he still has to be a hero if he died a century ago, and people are keeping his corporation alive. In conclusion Carnegie was a hero because he always had his mind on business and kept his eyes on the prize. He paid his workers fair wages for the work that they did. And he donated a total of $350,695,653 to charities and organizations. While people who say he wasn’t a hero would argue that he treated his workers poorly and didn’t focus on them enough. He didn’t have time to do that, he was a billionaire who was always busy, and if he didn’t have

enough time to take care of it, so be it. But that shouldn’t outshine the fact that he started and perfected the oil and steel business in this country, despite the fact being raised in a poor family in Scotland.
