The manager is currently facing ethical dilemmas. These include deciding whether to accept or reject a job from a client and determining whether to seek assistance from Borries or assign the task to other colleagues.

According to Deontology, the manager shows respect for Borries as an individual rather than just using him as a means. This is evident in the manager's choice not to penalize Borries for taking his vacation and recognizing Borries' right to do so. However, as a manager, there is also a responsibility to fulfill the task given by the client and ensure that Borries returns to complete it.

According to Feminist, the manager values the relationship with Borries and desires to maintain a positive working dynamic with others. Instead of penalizing Borries for taking holidays, the manager prioritizes the significance of the client and acknowledges the regard they hold for Borries' work. Utilitarianism suggests that the manager should ask Borries to complete the work instead of relying on others for help. To resolve this, the manager can offer compensation to Borries upon completion of

Different ethical theories lead to diverse decision-making. In my opinion, Borries should honor his promise to Swee and her family and take the holidays; this will prevent them from being upset. However, the manager can still accept the job offered by the client and delegate it to other colleagues so that they fulfill their responsibilities and complete all the tasks.
