Introduction

Various studies in the United States have proved that blindness is the main form of disability and has caused evoke in people’s lives. The number of old people is expected to double as the years go by and in line with this the main causes of visual loss such as glaucomia,cataract and age related dysfunction of muscles also will rise. Though major advanced method of treating this disorder have been established, researches are being done widely to promote the idea of preventing the disability. In line with this goal, the Nurses Health has given evitable results that address the major causes of blindness and ways in which it could be avoided.

Method

From the study done, it’s evident that the results partially reflect the hypothesis of the study since some of the listed causes of blindness were evident in the results while others were discovered. In support of that, the world health organization has heavily advocated for frequent examination of eyes and keen observation of preventative measures to prevent sight loss. The findings provided by NHS have been used widely and other studies have also added more information to advocate for public health teachings on preventing eye loss.
