This paper will center its attention on the problem of alcoholism within the family.
Alcoholism, which refers to the excessive use of ethanol or any substance derived from barley or grapes that undergoes fermentation, has negative consequences on both families and society. The image provided shows a couple engaged in a heated argument while their 11-year-old son observes their behavior influenced by alcohol. The distress clearly visible on the boy's face suggests that his parents' actions under the influence of alcohol are negatively affecting his mental well-being. Consequently, it is highly likely that the boy will encounter challenges in his academic performance due to significant stress and emotional distress.
Alcoholism, according to conservatives, is primarily attributed to one's community or family background. They assert that individuals who are raised in households where alcohol consumption lacks restraint are at
...risk of developing alcoholism later on. The repercussions of this addiction can be substantial and may lead to making ill-advised decisions that negatively affect both the larger family unit and society as a whole. Moreover, there is a significant likelihood of mishandling finances and encountering health issues associated with the stomach or liver. In the view of conservatives, parents should assume the ultimate responsibility of being guardians and role models for younger generations.
Drinking alcohol around children is advised against to prevent them from developing a positive perception of alcohol. Nevertheless, Liberals contend that factors such as poverty and family stress can contribute to the development of alcoholism. Consequently, some parents may turn to drinking as a means to cope with their anxiety and stress levels. The excessive consumption of alcohol can result in severe financial difficulties for families, includin
job loss, accidents, addiction, and even fatality. In an effort to decrease rates of alcoholism, Liberals suggest enhancing working conditions and offering higher-paying jobs to alleviate societal despair.
The rise in alcoholism in our community is mainly attributed to the socialization process, as per my viewpoint. The younger generation frequently regards family and community values, activities, and norms positively, resulting in my endorsement of the conservative standpoint. By effectively implementing parenting strategies, we can mitigate sociological issues prevalent in our society today.
