Several organizations have established or are currently establishing their internet presence. However, managers must be aware that business information and data transmitted through the internet can be intercepted if not safeguarded with encryption. To avoid this, managers should use a secure form to collect clients' information and employ encryption to protect confidential data transmitted between a user's Web browser program and the organization's Web server.
On the other hand, Export controls present a challenge for international businesses. This is exemplified by the requirement for export licenses for computer software that contains restricted technology listed on the United States’ Export control List, such as cryptographic components. The organization's managers who are reselling or consuming the software are responsible for obtaining the necessary authorization.
style="text-align: justify;">Obtaining permission to import certain products from the United States is required for managers of organizations in countries on the Area Control List or under a United Nations embargo. Life insurance, also referred to as life assurance, is a contractual agreement between an insurer and a policy owner. If significant bodily harm or death occurs to the insured person, the insurer pledges to pay out a specified amount of money while the customer commits to making regular premium payments.
The insured event in a life policy must be related to the person (or people) named in the policy. The contract terms are presented as legal contracts that outline the limitations of the insured events. However, there is a risk of the insured suing the insurer for breaching the contract, such as when claims are made for events related to war, riot, ethnic crushes, and civil commotion. These lawsuits
can cause insurance companies to lose money in legal procedures.
To address this scenario, insurance managers must guarantee that the insurance policy's conditions are explicit regarding covered occurrences and unambiguously exclude overlooked events.
