Weirdo: the Weirdos and Mere Simple Self-expression Essay Example
Greetings to all! Our topic for today is about accepting and celebrating our individuality. First and foremost, it is important to understand the meaning of "weirdo." Derived from "weird," a weirdo pertains to an individual who exhibits behavior that society deems as non-traditional or peculiar. Whether it's in their physical appearance or daily habits, a weirdo possesses a distinct perspective on everything.
The meaning of the term "weirdo" is not fixed and varies according to different people's viewpoints. One person may judge someone as strange, but that individual themselves might regard their behavior as ordinary. The label of being a weirdo depends on how society perceives and embraces them. As an example, I personally consider "jejemons" to be peculiar, while they think of themselves as normal individuals.
As I do not partake in the activitie
...s of Jejemons, they may view me as an outcast. However, the concept of being a social outcast is subjective. Personally, I consider those who converse with themselves when alone to be odd. It appears as if they are engaging with a fictional character, comparable to an imaginary companion.
My view is that a weirdo is an individual who has a tendency to provide excessive explanations, even when a straightforward response would be adequate. They persist in speaking until I interrupt them. Furthermore, they might dress in clothing that does not match the color of their pants or often wear unconventional outfits. In my opinion, a weirdo is someone who does not comply with societal standards and avoids participating in typical activities.
While I may see myself as ordinary, others may view me as strange. Different people have different opinions on how others
behave and some may label them as peculiar. However, the best way to avoid being categorized as such is to stay authentic.
