Contemporary novels delve deep into scientific methodology and analysis of solving violent crimes. Popular writers such as James Patterson, Sue Grafton, and John Grisham have gained massive success, which can be attributed to their portrayal of sensitive

subjects and the increasing demand of society to witness more violence and shocking content in order to be captivated. This desensitization towards extreme violence has influenced the genre significantly.

Moreover, some of these writers' stories have been adapted into movies. The humanities field stands out because of its examination of various aspects of culture and human condition from the perspectives of the people who both live and shape them. Their approach to studying these facets is distinct from that of other disciplines.
