In the "So you want to be an engineer?" Challenge, I chose three fields: bioengineering, civil engineering, and computer engineering (in that order). Engineers are problem solvers who address various global issues. It was challenging to select just three fields. My top choice was bioengineering because it combines medicine and biology to find creative solutions for medical problems. Bio engineers work closely with doctors, using their expertise to create new drugs.
Bioengineering is a rapidly growing and exciting field that has a significant impact on modern medicine. I am confident that it will be the most influential industry in the next 20 years, so I am eager to contribute by developing life-saving medicines.

In the United States, there are outstanding civil engineering programs; my top choices are Boise State University and Florida Atlantic University.
Computer engineering, although it was not my initial preference, is a significant discipline that encompasses the analysis and evaluation of computer systems, encompassing both hardware and software. This field focuses on problem-solving and driving progress within the industry. By utilizing logical concepts, computer engineers develop innovative and
more effective software. The rapid advancement of technology has contributed to the substantial growth of computer engineering. Consequently, in this modern era, engineers play a crucial role in sustaining the momentum of this expansion.
Beginning from the start would be beneficial for me as computers have always fascinated me. Consequently, switching my skills to this field would not pose a challenge. The fields of bioengineering, civil engineering, and computer engineering all possess immense potential for the future. Engineers specializing in these areas are crucial for propelling technological progress. Personally, I would be ecstatic to make contributions to any of these disciplines and walk in the footsteps of those who have paved the path for upcoming engineers.
