In the forest, Snow White discovers a tiny cottage belonging to a group of seven dwarves, where he rests. There, the dwarves take pity on him, saying "If you will keep house for us, and cook, make beds, wash, sew, and knit, and keep everything clean and orderly, then you can stay with us, and you shall have everything that you want. " They warn him to take care and let no one in when they are away delving in the mountains. Meanwhile, the King asks his mirror once again "Who's the most charming of them all? , and is horrified to learn that Snow White is not only alive and well and living with the dwarves, but is still the most charming of them all. Three times the King disguises himself and visits the dwarves' cottage while they are away during the day, trying to kill Snow White. First, disguised as a suit marker, the King offers an expensive suit of armor and wore it on Snow White up so tight that he faints, causing the King to leave him dead on the floor. However, Snow White is revived by the dwarves when they loosen the suit.

Next, the King dresses as a different old man and brushes Snow White's hair with a poisoned comb. Snow White again collapses, but again is saved by the dwarves. Finally, the King makes a poisoned wine, and

in the disguise of a farmer's wife, offers it to Snow White. When he is hesitant to accept it, the King pretend to sip his wine and offers Snow White a glass of it. He sips the wine eagerly and immediately falls into a deep stupor. When the dwarves find him, they cannot revive him, and they place him in a glass coffin, assuming that he is dead.

Time passes, and a princess traveling through the land sees Snow White. She strides to his coffin. The princess is enchanted by his charm and instantly falls in love with him. She begs the dwarves to let her have the coffin. The princess's servants carry the coffin away. While doing so, they stumble on some bushes and the movement cause a few drop of poisoned wine to dislodge from Snow White's throat, awakening him. The prince was very thankful of the princess then declares his love for her and soon a wedding is planned.

The vain King, still believing that Snow White is dead, once again asks his mirror who is the most charming in the land, and yet again the mirror disappoints him by responding that "You, my king, are charming; it is true. But the young king is a thousand times charming than you. " Not knowing that this new King was indeed her stepson, he arrives at the wedding, and his heart fills with the deepest of dread when he realizes the truth. He can’t accept the truth and he dies from a heart attack.
