These assessments are used to identify areas that need more attention. In the children's learning journeys, we use learning and development audits to track the areas covered and ensure a diverse range of activities are planned.

I believe that monitoring children's development through these methods is effective because it allows us to easily track the areas we are focusing on and how children are progressing in those areas.

Additionally, I can enhance my practice by including more photographs and evidence of their work in their learning journeys, enabling parents to see what their children have been doing instead of just reading about it.
