Breast cancer is a widespread and fatal ailment that specifically impacts women. Inherited predisposition plays a significant role in this condition, making it difficult to entirely prevent. Hence, individuals must stay alert and monitor any alterations in their breasts. Screening aids in identifying abnormalities like lumps, nipple discharge, and tenderness to detect the illness at its initial phase. Early detection via testing enhances the chances of effectively managing the disease with appropriate medical interventions. Prevention proves more economical and easier compared to attempting to cure advanced stages of the ailment.

Early detection of breast cancer is crucial as it can help avoid the need for chemotherapy or mastectomy (Rojananin, 2009). To be cautious, it is important to undergo screening since certain symptoms might go unnoticed. If any abnormalities are found during sc

reening, a diagnostic test should be performed, although it does not necessarily mean that breast cancer is present. Women aged 40 and above are more likely to develop breast cancer, with the risk increasing as they get older (National Health Service, 2015). However, there are cases of breast cancer occurring in women under 40 years old, making all mature women vulnerable. This explains why this article focuses on breast cancer screening.

The screening will be open to women of all ages, as it is important not to separate any female based on their vulnerability to breast cancer. Older women will receive priority during the screening due to their increased risk compared to younger women. Additionally, extra care will be given to those with a family background of breast cancer. The screening process involves conducting a mammography test using a mammography machine. This test detects the presenc

of breast cancer by taking an x-ray after placing the breast between two plates (American Cancer Society, 2015).

During my screening procedure, I ensured that I had multiple assistants and a specialist present to record, analyze x-ray images, and document the results. I provided a brief explanation of the benefits of breast cancer screening and what the test would entail. I then assisted in compressing the patient's breast between plates and emphasized that they should alert us if the pain became unbearable. This compression helps to keep the targeted area stable and make the tissue thinner for clearer x-ray images (American Cancer Society, 2015). Some clients were anxious, considering whether or not to proceed, particularly if it was their first time. However, by explaining the importance of the process for their health, none of them resisted undergoing the test.

As a result of the frequent changes in staff, I established an agreement with my assistants to document the identities of the clients and assign them sequential numbers based on their arrival time in order to ensure a fair process. Once the x-ray was complete, I directed the client to the waiting room and forwarded the results to the specialists for evaluation. Additionally, I guaranteed that an expert was readily available to interpret the findings and inform the patient about the subsequent steps. My main goal was to provide excellent care to my patients, assess numerous cases, and demonstrate success in my breast cancer awareness campaign.

During the x-ray process, I adjusted the machine to make clients comfortable and prevent negative emotions. It was inspiring to see people from local areas and different states attending, showing increased awareness of

cancer dangers and taking precautions. This will ultimately reduce breast cancer mortality rates. According to a 2013 report by Medical News Today, costs for breast screenings range from $42 to $107 per person depending on the region. To ensure access for as many clients as possible, I have set a standard fee of $50 per client which includes all expenses for equipment setup and staff payment.

After evaluating multiple cases of unsuccessful fundraising for breast cancer, I found hope in the success of a project that aims to create a disease-free nation. My future plans involve organizing campaigns to raise awareness among women and educate them about the benefits of early screening.
