connection of a muscle to a bone that moves.
Origin of a muscle
connection of muscle to a stationary bone.
Plantar flexion
bending the sole of the foot downward toward the ground.
Pronation
turning of the palm backward (down).
Rotation
circular movement around a centra point.
Skeletal muscle
striated muscle connected to bones.
Supination
turning the palm forward (up).
Visceral muscle
smooth muscle connected to internal organs.
