According to Ozick (2013), it is human nature to find themselves in a position where they knowingly or unknowingly pursue happiness. However, only a handful find it at the end because most people struggle to find something that they cannot recognize and so might never realize whether they have it or not. Ozick’s concept can be applied in all spheres of life. For example, any entrepreneur has the aspirations to make profits and expand the business. Unfortunately, no specific achievement is considered the ultimate goal, and thus one goal leads to another creating a cycle. Under such a situation it is impossible for a person to get satisfied and appreciate the bright side of the business, instead, he/she will always notice faults that might impede further growth. thing in life that is important yet many people often overlook it.

The challenges that life poses in this century has made people busy to the extent that they can no longer have a moment of self-reflection that can enable them offer assistance to those who need it. appreciation that allows one to gratify other people.

Over the years, man has tried to encourage human interaction by discouraging any form of disintegration through cultural beliefs. For instance, in most parts of the world a person who separates from a crowd is described as a loner and some people might find him/her weird. The business community is also changing, and managers are opting for a team rather than individual work which means that one is always in a crowd. At the end of the day, there is family and friends that require some attention. In such a world, one is left with no quality time that can allow him/her to have an in-depth self-reflection; this subsequently prevents one from noticing other people within their surroundings that are in dire need of assistance.

As Daum (2014) explains, the demands that life poses have the potential to sway one from the right path and if the person fails to stop and ponder she/he might not realize the change. Therefore, self-reflection is important as it allows a person to acknowledge and appreciate qualitative factors of perception and time. The two aspects i.e. time and knowledge enable one to recognize happiness within the surrounding that is often overlooked. In other words, self-reflection acts as a mirror that one can use to rate him/herself and make necessary adjustments that can get them attain their life goals. Failure to reflect exposes one to the danger of losing the core values that define a person making them slaves to external forces. Such people often live and work towards achieving other people’s dreams rather than theirs. In such a situation, finding happiness might be

impossible. Therefore, it is time for people to understand the importance of self-reflection which is rarely noticed by many and make quality time to incorporate it into their daily schedules.
