The sun shone brightly on the hill, it seemed almost perfect was it not for the fact there were hundreds of lifeless corpses scattered on the open plains, so many in fact there was no sign of green grass, but red murderous blood stained grass. At the centre of these massacres were two warriors one of pure heart the other infested with evil, both were radiating with immense power. Of course they were always going to meet, it was a collision course of good versus evil, but unlike many stories, this was not a battle, which the good side would win and celebrate. It was one with many losses on both sides. Because as we all know you can never truly defeat evil, because without it the world would be in chaos.

Good and evil balance out the world. So when one evil person perishes another will always be born. This was his birthright, his destiny, call it what you want but this was something inevitable. Both warriors looked at each other with distaste, then both immense powers clashed with their swords, everyone stopped fighting for a brief moment because who ever won this duel would deal a decisive blow to their enemies.

The battle raged on with a new level of fierceness, there was no holding back. The Order Of Sapphire new their cause so they were willing to be martyrs if it helped their side in any way. He stood motionless on the hill surveying the battle. He knew what was at stake if something happened to his protg who was fighting Lord Mordante.

Occasionally he would stretch his arm to his front, his hand would start glowing bright red. Moments later a ball of fire would start building in which case he would release it, it would fly with ferocious force to its intended victim. If the victim was to weak to conjure a magical barrier he would be mutilated.”Nyras Magus an army of goblins are arriving for the dark side what should we do?” questioned the panicked commander of the Order.

Nyras was in a heated battle with Lord Mordante he could not lose his focus he had to by time so he slowed down his pace and asked” Tell me Mordante were you always evil” Hearing this Mordante stopped fighting nobody had ever asked him this before, h

replied” Nyras when will you learn there is no good just as there is no evil there is only power, those who are to weak to see it will perish before it” Lord Mordante stated matter of factly. Both circled each other again neither had really been showing their true power, they were just toying with each other and they both new this. Nyras looked around the battlefield and he could see the weary faces of his companions who were just beginning to get the upper hand until the threat of the goblins had arrived. This was not good he could see the goblins 400 maybe 500 yards away he had to act fast.
