The commander of the Order was in a state of panic as he asked Nyras Magus for advice on the approaching army of goblins allied with the dark side. Meanwhile, Nyras Magus occasionally extended his arm forward and his hand would glow a bright red color. Shortly after, a ball of fire would form and he would release it, causing devastating damage to any weak victims who were unable to conjure up a magical barrier.

During his battle with Lord Mordante, Nyras remained focused and slowed down to ask his opponent a question. He wanted to buy some time and asked, "Mordante, were you always evil?" This inquiry surprised Mordante as no one had ever asked him that before. He responded by saying that there is no good or evil; only power exists and those who are too weak will perish before it. Both fighters circled each other again, but Nyras noticed the exhausted faces of his comrades on the battlefield. They were gaining an advantage until goblins appeared from a distance of four to five hundred yards away, threatening their progress. Nyras knew he needed to act quickly.
