5. All students will feel equal. This will avoid bullying which will lead to a safer, happier environment. 6. Another reason that students bully others is because some do not have the money to afford nice “trendy” clothes or they cannot afford enough clothes and end up wearing the same ones each week. 7. There will be an increase in attendance because of the improved atmosphere and decreased gang violence because gang colors and styles have been outlawed, according to Jacob Margaret, speaking in the Wall Street Journal. 8. With the uniforms, everyone will wear the same clothes every day which is the best solution. Everyone will feel comfortable attending a school with a bully-free environment and they can have self expression anywhere outside of school.
1. Another important reason that uniforms should be enforced is to help students focus on work rather than what their appearance is. 2. Personally, I know that if I was in a rush to go to school and threw on a ridiculous outfit, I would feel insecure about it and think about it all day. 3. It is a distraction and can simply be resolved with uniforms. 4. Also, many times I wake up late and don’t have time to pick out an outfit and make it to school on time but if I had a uniform I could simply take it out and put it on and run out of the door to get my education at school.
