In some cases, entire ecosystems depend on specific bodies of water for their survival.The size and shape of a body of water can vary greatly depending on its location and topography – some are small ponds while others are vast oceans spanning thousands upon thousands kilometers wide. Regardless of size though, each body has its own unique characteristics that make it stand out from the rest including temperature variation, salinity levels and current speed/direction which all affect the types flora & fauna you can find there. Aside from providing essential resources to humans & wildlife alike – bodies of waters also give us something else; beauty. From majestic mountain lakes to rolling ocean waves – these natural wonders have inspired numerous works across various art mediums over centuries as well as providing us with recreational activities like swimming & boating that we can enjoy during our free time. In conclusion whilst we may take their presence for granted Bodies Of Water are undoubtedly one the most important features our planet has to offer both in terms practicality & aesthetics alike.
