• Previously the University's Library • Admissions - takes care of all processing for new incoming undergraduate students. Also processes bacterial meningitis documentation (must have the bacterial meningitis vaccine to register for classes if you are under the age of 22). • Registrar's Office - Takes care of all records for current students (transcripts, grades, diplomas, etc.) • Financial Assistance - Processes FAFSAs for all incoming and current students, Financial aid advisors can assist by walk-in visits. • FAFSA opens October 1st, Priority deadline is March 31st. • 4 types of Financial Aid: Scholarships, Grants, Work-study, Loans • Business Office - Take tuition payments, BankMobile Refund card, emergency loans, parking permit payments • Bursar - Oversees the Business Office • Academic Testing - Takes care of TSI holds. Administers TSI assessment. TSI: Required for all incoming freshmen to determine class placement (college ready or developmental classes) • ACT Residual & CLEP exams offered at Testing Center • Scholarships - Processes all academic scholarships for the University, provides scholarship information • Veteran's Affairs - Works with all Veteran's and their dependents, also processes the Hazelwood Act. TAMUCC has consistently been named one of the most military friendly universities in the country

WOO SUNG LEE PLAZA

• Donated by Alumni Woo Sung Lee. He received his bachelors degree in Chemistry from University of Corpus Christi in 1959, later founded Boat N' Net Seafood Restaurants, a popular seafood chain in Corpus Christi • Dedicated the plaza in honor of his son (Yongnom Lee), and Friend & Staff he met while attending UCC • Is the home of Island Tribute every spring which honors fallen Islanders • Islander ring tradition (a sanddollar is placed in student's ring box, after ceremony students make their way to the plaza and toss the sanddollar into the fountain and make a wish for their future.

UNIVERSITY POLICE DEPARTMENT

State certified police officers patrol our campus 365 days a year, 24 hours-a-day. Their average response time is 2-3 minutes. In addition, emergency stations called 'Blue Codes' dot our campus in-case of any emergency. Our campus is very safe. IF FAMILIES ASK ABOUT CRIME: Petty theft occurs on every campus, but can be prevented.
