Public speaking requires more formal language (slang, jargon, and bad grammar have little place in public speeches) 3. Public speaking requires a different method of delivery ( in a conversation you use the words "like", "you know", "uh", "err", "um". In a speech, you adjust your voice, speak clearly, straight posture and avoid verbal or mannerism habits)
