1. In 1979, Chine began the “One child Policy”. This policy expressed that the natives must acquire a birth endorsement before the birth of child and they would be offered extraordinary advantages if they consented to have a single child. It was also said that the citizen having two or more than two child would be taxed 50% of their income or loss of their employment. But the government ended up this policy in 2016. (Cook, J. 1999).
2. In 1980, the birth quota system was established to screen down the population growth. In this framework, the government set target objectives for each area and local authorities were given responsibility to make sure that the population did not surpass the target objectives and if the objectives were not met, the local authorities were punished by law or loss of benefits. (Cook, J. 1999).
3. In early 80s, Chinese government, sterilization target goals were set and made mandatory for the people having two kids (Cook, J. 1999).
4. Government made law to take action for the unplanned pregnancies or pregnancies without authorization. As indicated by authorities, when two or three has been allowed the privilege to have a kid, they at that point have an obligation to utilize contraception to avert further pregnancies. Since China's general public has profoundly imbued man centric traditions, the obligation regarding contraception falls essentially to the women.

However, government actions and strategies are only not enough to control the excessive population growth. There should be the equal effort from individual side also. Only controlling birth rate is not enough. Government should focus

on the every possible aspect that has impact in rising population. Some measures that have to be followed are mentioned below:

2. Rising status of women
3. Minimum age of marriage
4. Education and awareness
5. Employment opportunities, men and women
6. Recreational activities
7. Publicity
8. Self control

Chine population control strategy has been criticized by numerous researchers all over the world. Anyway this strategy has been adopted with the understanding and support of many Chinese researchers and successfully actualized. China birth rate was significantly decreased from 43.37 per thousands from 1963 to 17.70 per thousands in 1994. The rate of normal increment was also declined from 33.33 per thousands from 1963 to 11.21 per thousands in 1994. Such a great decrease in China birth rate and natural increment rate demonstrate that it has been the best family planning strategy in the world (Wang, G. T.1996).

Genuine changes are expected to guarantee that China’s population won’t keep on developing. Better strategies, more training, and urbanization could assist China to reach population target objectives. Since, 1980, China has understood the significance of joint effort among organizations and has set up the Population and Information Research Center (SEPC). This organization alongside others is responsible for gathering data about total population and helping the legislature/government to actualize strategies. Anticipated development of China’s population is evaluated to be around 1.5 billion constantly in 2025. This figure will continue to rise, and the social and economic weights will keep on plaguing everybody living in this country.
