Alanya's height has increased by 2cms since my visits began in September, but based on P.Minett's child development book, she is still the appropriate height for her age.

Alanya's fine manipulative skills and hand-eye coordination improved during the period of study. Her language skills and hand-eye coordination were also enhanced through her visits, as shown by her extensive vocabulary and proficiency in various spellings. In addition, she has demonstrated competence in basic skills, including familiarity with alphabet letters A-Z, counting from 1 to 50, counting in increments of 10 up to 100 and in increments of 20 up to 100. Alanya is also capable of writing and spelling her own name.

In general, I was pleasantly surprised by Alanya's physical development. Despite her preference for indoor activities and creativity, I didn't think she would be very confident when engaging in more active pursuits like playing in the park and swimming. However, she proved me wrong and showed a great deal of confidence. She also demonstrated proper use of her gross motor skills and displayed good fine motor skills, which I expected due to her indoor playtime.

as she is able to use a mature pincer grasp to control a pencil and can easily fasten and unfasten zips and buttons as well as tie her shoelaces. During our visits to the swimming baths, the park, and on our way back home, she demonstrated her proficiency in these skills. Additionally, Alanya is a talkative child who may be reserved at times, but during our visits, she was very communicative and shared many stories with me. She expressed curiosity by asking numerous questions and telling me about her experiences in school, reflecting her intellectual growth.

Although Alanya sometimes makes up words and guesses their meaning, it shows her willingness to try new things and display confidence. While her extensive vocabulary comes in handy, she occasionally stumbles when expressing herself and gets confused while speaking. However, Alanya enjoys telling long stories and has a good memory which helps with her understanding of instructions. She is attentive and follows rules well due to the potential consequences

Alanya possesses exceptional cognitive skills by utilizing all her senses and thoroughly analyzing things while having a keen interest in gaining new knowledge. Regarding her social and emotional growth, Alanya finds pleasure in playing with other children, comprehends the significance of sharing and alternating turns during games, and likes to interact with her brother Cameran and cousins. Alanya especially relishes stimulating her creativity through activities like dress-up, dolls, and house play.

Despite generally being cooperative, this child can display aggression if things don't go her way. Nevertheless, she has a friendly nature and likes to interact with different individuals. Inclusive in games, she allows anyone to join even if they have already started.

Although occasionally bossy, someone else usually takes charge shortly after. Typically playing with children of her age group, she shares school stories with them as she attends a different school than her cousins along with Cameran.

Alanya's self-esteem is positive and her confidence is continuously increasing. Although she may become shy in the presence of strangers and may feel embarrassed if she does something silly, she remains confident in her abilities and herself. Alanya places a lot of emphasis on personal grooming, frequently brushing her hair and teeth. She firmly believes in cleaning her teeth before and after eating, which results in her cleaning her teeth around ten times per day. Her growing confidence can be attributed to receiving encouragement to learn new skills, being praised for what she can do, and not being criticized for things she cannot do. She is given the freedom of choice for clothing and toys, which further enhances her confidence. Alanya is not a spoiled child, but she enjoys playing with new toys and often gets her way.

Despite not always getting what she wants, this child is affectionate towards everyone and enjoys giving hugs and kisses. She identifies more as a mommy's girl, often emulating her mother's behavior and fashion sense. Although progressively becoming more outgoing, she may always possess a tendency towards shyness when encountering unfamiliar individuals.

In general, Alanya is a confident and outgoing child with a lot of ability, despite occasional shyness. She excels in basic skills and has excellent language abilities. The FAR assessment correctly indicated that Alanya would benefit from utilizing her physical skills, however she prefers indoor activities but performs well in outdoor activities.
