For a long time in history, many people from all lifestyles across the globe believe that living and working in Saudi Arabia is a hell of its kind. They base their arguments on the status of the violation of human rights, which they believe is a common phenomenon in the country. According to what I have heard people say, people face punishments without going through the judicial process. In most cases, a victim suffers punishment but is not aware of the reason behind the penalty. The implication is that in this country, the justice system is very dormant, and it does not appear to work towards the realization of human rights. Once a person faces trial, he or she is presumed guilty, and the accused does not have an opportunity to question the witnesses in the case.

They also say that the country is yet to uphold the universal declaration of human rights by the United Nations. Women suffer the greatest deal following the punishments directed to them. They also do not have equal rights with men in all issues, following the discrimination policies of the government. Violence against women is a common phenomenon in the country, and people criticizing the way of life in the country believe that there are no laws that govern the violence against women. People also believe that the country does not have the religious freedom, and citizens and non-citizens must profess the Islamic faith. All the issues as mentioned above are misconceptions, and the people criticizing this country need to visit there and see for themselves instead of relying on information from third parties. The sources of information regarding the way of life have a bias to favor them in one way or the other. I have personally visited and spent a number of years in Saudi Arabia, and I can confess that the beliefs of people are pure contrary to the reality. The country is a peaceful place to live and conduct business. During my stay in the country, I realized that people receive equal treatment regardless of their nationality. Employers treat their employees nicely, to the extent that the employees do not feel like leaving the employments.
From personal observation, women in this country happen to enjoy then treatment they receive, and according to me, they are comfortable with the way of life. For the period that I stayed in this country, there is no single day that I saw protests from the public about any issue. On top of that, one may think that there are no police or military officers since you rarely find them in action. At no single day did I hear that there is a curfew in any area. All these are signs to confirm that Saudi Arabia is a peaceful country to live.
Being a Muslim nation, people believe that terrorism is the order of the day. Contrary to this idea, the government of this country is totally against terrorism. The citizens believe in the notion of training one another adherence to the Islamic law, coupled with tolerance amongst themselves. From the observations
I have made, I conclude that the perceptions that people have about the country are not real, and people need to visit the country and confirm the peaceful nature of the country.
