My name is ......................, and I have been a student in…………….. high school. Throughout my time in high school, I have encountered a number of challenges while striving to achieve my personal goals for success as a hardworking student. One of the biggest challenges I have faced is family problems. Over the past few months, my parents have faced several differences to and extend of filing separation. The separation agreement between my parents will be effective once I graduate from high school in May. This separation will have detrimental impact to my desire to join college because I will not have enough money to raise my fees. At present, my desire is to join one of the best colleges in the country once I graduate so that I can fulfill my dreams of becoming an engineer. However, my dream is facing an abrupt shutdown once my parents’ divorce in May next year after graduation. It is my wish to continue with my studies after high school graduation but I am facing a big challenge of raising school fees. As a result, I am writing this letter to appeal for financial from well-wishers. I am appealing to anyone who is willing to offer financial aid in my college education to please assist me in realizing my
dream. With financial aid, I will be in a position to join college and continue with my studies.
Once I get financial aid, I will join college and work extra hard to fulfill my goals. I am serious with my studies and I recognize that a college degree is important in attaining a great career. Completing a college degree will help me get a well paying job to support my divorced mother as well as other needy students who might me in my position right now.
