Reflecting on my high school years brings a flood of memories.
In high school, I encountered a combination of positive and negative experiences that seemed to fly by. This period served as a valuable teacher in life lessons and the creation of lasting friendships. My peers showed me the significance of diligence, dedication, and identifying true companions. Despite the obstacles faced, it remains an unforgettable time that holds immense importance to me. Reflecting on my high school years evokes a range of emotions - from happiness to less pleasant feelings.
One of my most cherished memories is the triumph I experienced in a badminton tournament. When I was 14 years old, I made a commitment to myself to achieve victory by winning two rounds with scores of 21-4 and 21-5. My ultimate objective was to become the champion in that c
...ompetition, just as I aspire to win a gold medal at the Olympics. Nevertheless, I recognized the importance of also obtaining both bronze and silver medals.
During my time in high school, being ranked as the 10th best player in the country had a profound effect on me. Regrettably, it was also accompanied by an upsetting breakup with my ex-boyfriend. In spite of our strong commitment and aspirations for marriage, my parents disapproved of our relationship and intervened, ultimately leading to our separation.
If I chose not to comply, they threatened to withdraw their financial support for my education and cut ties with me. Unfortunately, I had no control over the situation as it would result in ending my three-year relationship with my boyfriend.
After some time, I have come to accept the situation and envision myself working as
physical therapist assistant in New York. Furthermore, I am planning an exciting adventure to explore European countries and revisit my home country, the Philippines.
