Human beings are born free but are sometimes chained or limited by certain situations or circumstances. Each person has dreams, and everybody has their idea of perfect. Given the opportunity to achieve their goals, people would move in different directions. To one person, the concept of success is getting the abundance of water all year round, till eternity; to another, it is the glory of conquering the world and having everybody bow to their will and wishes. Goals are diverse, just like life. This essay will write about my goals and aspirations, what I would like to achieve, and the ideal that would make my life most complete and probably make me happiest.
First, I aspire to be financially free. As I see it, financial freedom is being able to afford the
...things that I practically need and desire. All freedoms in life are tied to financial freedom. With good money, one can get a good life in our current world—get a good education, afford good healthcare, take care of family needs, vacation freely, and even self-develop. Money may not outrightly make me happy; however, it will set me out and offer me the opportunity to find happiness. True freedom is being able to afford the life one wants and sustain it without being a nuisance to other people or being at the mercy of external forces.
Second, my goal is to change my immediate community and country positively. I am a child of the universe. I was born and bred in a particular environment with particular challenges and benefited from the hospitality of my society. I have a responsibility to
identify and conclusively solve some of the problems in my community and take pride in changing my community and uplifting those around me. I will feel immensely fulfilled to enable my community and country to overcome problems such as poverty, hunger, lack of education, and poor healthcare. I am public administration major, and that will pivot me to reach greater heights and help the community even better.
Additionally, I aspire to be a family man. I hope that I will be able to start a family, bear children, and help impart the desired principles to make them better human beings. Children are an excellent addition to any family. Having a happy family means catering to their needs and giving them a comfortable stay while nourishing them with intellectual, mental, and emotional growth. It does not merely mean having a family for family’s sake; it is about having a family with a high quality of life. Even with financial freedom, it is fulfilling to enjoy the fruits of success with close family and people with unconditional love.
Happiness is the ultimate goal of life. Even in the afterlife, people still hope to achieve the most happiness and attain the best levels. Cultures and social upbringings make people differ in their ideals and utopias. If I can vacation in Dubai at will, with a community project back in my country and a smiley family by my side, that will be my heaven on earth.
