Groups like the LGBTQ are the most affected by such behaviors since it prevents them from developing. For instance, LGTBQ group being isolated is one of the heteronormativity behavior have witnessed within the community. The society perceives that the right relations should involve a male ad a female but not same gender (McNeil, 2015). Therefore you find that those involved in gay relationships are faced with challenges on how to interact with the rest of the society. The society terms these relationships as wrong and isolates those who are involved. It becomes hard to change the knowledge of these people since people of the same community believe in the same perspectives.

The qualities that made the behavior heteronormative are; firstly, the society condemn any member of the LGTBQ family saying that it is against their moral as a society since same-sex relationships are not right and relationships are meant to involve two people of different genders. I realized that it was in their mentality that a normal relationship should include a male and a female. Secondly, the victims are not brave enough to talk about their relationship in public. They also fall into the trap since they should not allow people to intimidate them. Heteronormativity is a behavior that human beings practice every day, and the bad factor about it is that it is controlling since Pascoe (2005) says that the choice of these relationships is just a lifestyle.
