e to visit cheaper internet cafes instead of owning their own devices.

Unfortunately, most of these cafes are located within cities, which limits access for nearby barangays and towns. This leads to a potential risk of low customer numbers and financial losses, discouraging individuals from venturing into internet shop businesses outside urban areas. In order to address this issue, a study was conducted in Poblacion, San Isidro, Bohol. The purpose of the study was to determine the marketability, feasibility, and profitability of establishing an internet cafe. Additionally, the study aimed to identify internet cafe products and services that would result in higher returns on investment.

of information resources and services including hypertext documents on the World Wide Web (WWW), email infrastructure, and peer-to-peer networks (www). It has become an integral part of many people's lives by providing access to diverse information sources and instant news updates with just a click. Furthermore, it has opened up immense possibilities for connecting with others through social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter,Tumbler, and Multiply. The integration of forums, chat services, file sharing platforms, and media sharing sites has led to the emergence of a seamless online experience (Narciso 2012). In Asia's Internet Cafes, social networking and gaming are highly popular activities, leading to increased demand and revenue for these establishments. The number of Filipinos using the Internet has steadily increased each year. A research study conducted by TNS found that more Filipinos are turning to the Internet for news and information instead of relying on traditional media such as radio, newspapers, or magazines. According to the recent TNS Digital Life 2012 study which surveyed consumers from 60 countries between November 2011 and January 2012, 45% of Filipinos were connected to the Internet compared to only 36% who listened to radio, 12% who read newspapers, and 4% who read magazines. This increase in internet consumption has had a significant impact on Filipino's social lives as they now spend more time online rather than interacting face-to-face with others or seeking information through outdoor activities or libraries. They have a preference for searching everything online. According to the

TNS study, a majority of Filipino internet users are children, teenagers, and young adults. Debell and Chapman (2006) concluded that internet use contributes to cognitive development in children, specifically in the visual intelligence area. The text also discusses how certain computer activities can enhance visual skills while highlighting the lower academic achievement of poor rural students compared to their urban counterparts. It recommends establishing an Internet Cafe in a rural area without computer facilities, particularly mentioning Bohol as the chosen location due to the absence of existing Internet Cafes there. The objective of the study is to assess the profitability and convenience of setting up this business in Poblacion, San Isidro, Bohol. The socio-economic aspect explores how community members can benefit from this business, particularly students and the municipal government. The main objective of this proposal is to offer various services, including internet access for social networking sites, efficient connections, online gaming opportunities, document encoding and printing services, and reliable transactions for business purposes. The cafe being introduced in the municipality aims to provide unique benefits to the public. Its primary goal is to generate additional government revenue through taxes, licenses, employment opportunities, and more. To ensure customer satisfaction and improve profitability, effective management allocation, marketing strategies, and technical expertise are crucial. This feasibility study utilizes a descriptive research methodology that allows for a comprehensive analysis and

fact-finding process by interpreting survey results related to the business being examined. It provides valuable insights into the current state and viability of the enterprise in Barangay Poblacion, one of San Isidro Bohol's twelve barangays. Positioned at the heart of the municipality with 1,684 residents residing across 15 puroks as well as limited commercial establishments including a school, church market and municipal hall; it also has a significant number of high-income earners within said municipality who are residents here. This study utilized questionnaires and interviews as primary data sources, with individuals from Barangay Poblacion providing the information. Secondary sources included books, internet resources, dictionaries, magazines, relevant feasibility studies on similar topics, and statistical data from local government authorities. The respondents were randomly selected to ensure their relevance to the proposed business within the industry's current state.

To create a representative sample from the population of Poblacion, San Isidro, Bohol, the researchers used the Cluster Sampling Technique. This involved dividing the population into clusters called puroks and randomly selecting a sample of puroks. Half of these puroks were chosen through Lottery Sampling. To determine an accurate sample size for further analysis, 12 members were selected from each chosen purok using a first number assignment method. Slovin's Formula was then applied with a 10% margin of error to calculate the final sample size: n = 1,684 / (1 + (1 / 17.84)) = 94.39 or 94.

Various research instruments such as questionnaires, interviews, and library techniques were utilized for data collection purposes. The questionnaire consisted of written sets of questions that provided essential information for this study. Additionally, interviews were conducted with respondents to gather more insights and analyze the

current situation alongside surveys and library techniques.
