Adidas is very popular in Europe where it was originally founded .Adidas has manufactured many basketball accessories and footwear and is one of the leading sports to be represented by Adidas.

Sponsorships Nike's first professional athlete endorser was a famous tennis player named Illie Nastase. The first track endorser was a distance runner Steve Prefontaine.Nike endorsers various celebrities such as,football players and tennis players.Nike also signed basketball legend Michael Jordan in 1984,where they started the brand Air Jordans with many footwear and accessories. Nike recently just started sponsoring United Soccer Leagues.The USL is the organizer of several soccer leagues with teams in the United States and Canada.Nike also sponsors various worldwide events such the FIFA World Cup,Tour de France etc.

I purchase many Nike products mostly footwear and my shoes can last more than a year of time.When it comes down to price Nike has lower prices with good quality shoes.An average nike shoe can range from $50-150 But there are other shoes that cost more than 200$. Nike has more comfortable clothing and less expensive clothing. The Nike logo “just do it” gives motivation to a person wearing the nike clothing. On the other hand, Adidas has very unattractive products that have high prices and very low quality clothing that are not worth the money. Adidas produces unappealing shoes that customers do not purchase. Prices of footwear are too high for the quality that is used in the product. Nike competes with Converse,Fila and their main competition,Adidas.Nike currently dominates the market,but Adidas can be a potential threat to them. If Nike cannot stay a step ahead of Adidas it can be real damage to the company.Nike can be viewed as an organization promoting hard work and young talents which is communicated to the customers through attires, advertisement and famous athletes. I find that Nike is a better company than Adidas because Nike cares about their customers and have great products for everyone.
