Carla always had a wish in her life; to meet the underprivileged and poverty-stricken people in the urban areas. She truly owned a heart of purest gold. If she was still alive, I would not hesitate to accompany her to perform voluntary work probably in Ethiopia. I would support her lifetime passion that was to help the unfortunate people and those who came from a deprived environment.

I would tell her how much I cherished our friendship and how she had significantly changed my life. We could also go and dine out at one of the local diners on Friday nights like we usually did, just chitchat and hang out. Plus, we could make plans on the next trip abroad as we shared similar hobby which is travelling and dive into various distinctive cultures and tradition. Thoughts are thoughts, and reality is reality. Reality is I have to move on with my life and stop dwelling in the past but Carla is certainly worth all the memories and will eternally be my best friend.
