Undoubtedly, Jesus is the greatest leader recognized by mankind. His teaching and leadership style, as described in biblical truths, can be advantageous for any leader. At the start of his ministry, Jesus displayed his humility by willingly undergoing baptism from John the Baptist as a sign of acknowledging a higher power at play. Additionally, Jesus exemplified leadership by investing time and effort into individuals who might have been disregarded by others.
Jesus strategically built his church by choosing ordinary people rather than religious elite as his disciples. He handpicked four fishermen to join him and emphasized the importance of a cohesive team with shared traits. Furthermore, Jesus displayed his authority by commanding demons to leave a man. As a leader, he prioritized people over rules and regulations, even breaking them to help those in need.

In order to succeed in management, having key leadership qualities is crucial. These qualities include leading by example, being an effective leader, and empowering others (Maxwell, 2007). Leading by example involves setting a high standard of excellence and leading by continuously developing oneself. To become an effective leader, one must set goals,
communicate effectively, and delegate wisely.
Empowering others involves sharing the organization's vision, providing positive feedback, and giving authority away. This was exemplified by Jesus in his leadership.
Jesus' demonstration of empowerment
Jesus primarily focused on empowering people in his ministry. One example of this was when he healed a man with leprosy. Jesus showed his desire to empower others by touching the man's hand and expressing his willingness to make him clean. Jesus brought out the best in people.

A leader must possess a clear vision for the organization's strategy. This vision serves as a guiding foundation and should be shared with all employees. Jesus, a visionary leader, effectively communicated his vision by highlighting the immediate presence of the kingdom of God and urging belief and repentance.
Positive feedback: Offering positive feedback is a crucial element of leadership. It includes giving employees insight into their progress and guiding them in problem-solving. Providing feedback is necessary for effective leadership.
Providing feedback entails being positive and giving both positive and negative feedback. It is important to be specific, prompt, and firm but not unkind. Jesus demonstrated this approach by affirming his disciples despite their faults, which made him an influential leader. He also held his followers to high expectations by asking them to follow him.
Giving authority away is how aspiring leaders typically gain authority. Leadership should be rooted in goodwill
and a wholehearted commitment to helping followers. This entails leaders who assist others without evoking fear, leading to their loved by people. Jesus demonstrated command and authority when necessary, such as when he expelled a demon from a possessed man. His underlying driving force was love for his followers.
An effective leader
Jesus was an effective leader; he motivated people by touching their souls. He lived with commitment and had the power to ask and make people follow him. He displayed good relational intelligence, loving and interacting with people from all walks of life. As an effective leader, he addressed issues by paying attention to everything and finding solutions. He referred to himself as a physician. For future leaders, being effective means setting goals, communicating effectively, and delegating wisely.
Setting goals is a crucial aspect of effective leadership, enabling leaders to make clear decisions, manage time efficiently, enhance communication, and maintain focus and peace of mind (Maxwell, 2007). Jesus demonstrated this by consistently aligning his actions with his mission and teachings.

Delegating tasks wisely is a crucial aspect of effective leadership. It entails selecting suitable tasks and individuals or teams to handle them. Delegation builds trust, enhances understanding, motivates others, tests their skills, and ensures equitable distribution of work.
Jesus relinquished ownership and responsibilities in the ministry, sending the disciples to pursue their own paths. Demonstrating leadership

Jesus, as a leader, served as a role model by surrendering his life to fulfill God's will. He willingly sacrificed himself to serve others, with the primary motivation being his disciples. Additionally, he was fully conscious of his position as a leader.

Self-awareness is crucial for leaders to achieve self-development, as it involves recognizing their own values, beliefs, and purpose. Having a clear understanding of goals and aspirations enables leaders to make informed decisions, enhancing effectiveness, focus, motivation, and resilience. Ultimately, this clarity empowers confident leaders who can inspire others.
Jesus practiced self-development and would often slip away to spend time with God, showcasing his leadership qualities.
