Regardless of their sexual orientation, these individuals were similar to me. Some people may perceive them as "feminine" because of their generally friendly and sociable nature. Personally, I have not come across a gay man who lacks kindness. I believe the heterosexual community can learn from their acceptance and politeness. However, in today's society, one's value is often judged by their ability to dominate and demean others rather than by how respectful they are. If you don't conform to traditional ideas of masculinity or exhibit toughness, commonly known as being "soft," you are vulnerable to criticism and mistreatment.

In society, various factors contribute to the formation of a mindset towards gay individuals. The media plays a significant role in portraying a limited perspective on them. However, we can combat this negative perception by challenging our fears and misconceptions. By taking the initiative to learn more about gay people in our daily lives, we can discover similarities and differences between us. It is essential to understand their unique cultural aspects that make them special. Engaging in conversations with them can help us see that they are not fundamentally different from ourselves.
