Dear Diary, My day at school was not good. Because everyone liked our costumes, they decided to cut their clothes to resemble them. Unfortunately, one girl accidentally cut herself instead of her shirt and ran to Nurse Adele in a panic. In summary, we broke several dress code rules and were sent to Principal Burns's office. She called our parents to inform them about our actions. After waiting outside her office for what felt like a long time, she finally lectured us loudly before sending us to the Nurse's office to change into clothes that complied with the dress code. We all looked awful, except for Kristen who always has spare clothes in her locker.

While changing, I could almost hear Miss Burns shouting in my ear, "As long as you are in my school, you will dress like young ladies, NOT Vegas showgirls," emphasizing the "not." Even though I probably violated about 9 rules with my costume, I don't regret it at all. This bet with Claire has made me eager to wear something new, and now that I finally had the chance, I felt better. It's like having the flu for a year and finally getting cured.
