The overall goal of the study is to ensure the bank has the right corporate culture which will enhance its image and enable it to remain competitive by attracting and retaining a large number of highly skilled employees who will develop innovative products and services that will bridge the existing gap in the market
and meet the client’s changing demands.
How the Study will be conducted
The proposed study of investigating [sic] Flushing Bank corporate culture will be conducted through collection of employee’s attitude[s] and values.
To complete this task, employees will need to fill out specific forms containing both closed-ended and open-ended questions. Additionally, researchers will observe employees' visible behaviors and attitudes to determine if the bank's corporate culture is optimal. If it is not, the researchers will recommend appropriate actions. The observed behaviors include adherence to dress code, punctuality, meeting deadlines for assigned tasks, compliance with established rules, respectful interaction with senior officials, attendance, and addressing of complaints.
Funding
This research will be funded by Flush Bank itself and is expected to take six months. This timeframe allows for data collection, analysis, and report compilation.
The funds will be used to purchase the necessary materials and hire researchers. Based on the budgeted funds, it is expected that the research will cost about $60,000 which will be used for miscellaneous expenses, acquiring materials, and paying contracted researchers.
