A Disastrous Meal! Eating, besides being a necessity, has always been a pleasure to me. In my leisure time, I would spend hours thinking how to mess up the kitchen by cooking new exotic foods from around the world. Therefore, you'll never find me hesitating a second to try a luxurious plate of food with its splendid aroma overwhelming me... Well, this lustful attitude led me to the worst meal experience Vive ever had. That unfortunate day, I was bored as usual, thinking of something to do when my friend called.
She too, was a food lover, so she proposed we go to a new Mexican restaurant that opened a couple of days ago in our neighborhood. So off we set, invading the beautifully decorated restaurant with the handsomest Mexican waiters ever.
...I wanted to try something new to eat, so I left the choice to one of the utterly gorgeous waiters who proposed a plate with a difficult pronunciation. I asked suspicious by the name, what the ingredients were, and he replied,"chicken and cheese," sending me a dashing smile. Sighing contently, I relaxed thinking, "What the heck!
I love chicken and cheese! " A few minutes later, our orders arrived. My plate had a delicious aroma, but I really couldn't tell where the chicken was in the plate which was swimming with cheese and a strange- colored liquid. I gave it a try, and it tasted really great! But it was a bit hot, I realized after the first spoon. As I loved hot spicy food, I gulped down the whole plate babbling how heavenly the food tasted, and trying by this t
make my friend regret not ordering the same. Little did I know that I'd be the one regretting the choice after a while...
Suddenly, amidst my laughter, a sharp stabbing pain pierced through my stomach, and I started sweating hard. After a while, I found myself in the bathroom throwing up everything Vive Just eaten. It was humiliating. After that incident, I spent a whole week sick in bed. The doctor said that I had a strong allergy towards a certain spice found in the dish, and he rebuked me for being careless in the things I choose to eat.
